This card (both sides shown) is almost the same size as the timetable. It welcomes an operator to the railroad and tells what to expect during a shift. I tried to keep it low-key and informative, with a "learn from the old-timer" tone.

This card (both sides shown) tells the Yard Master what to expect during a shift. Like the crew information card, I tried to keep it friendly and informative.

Finally, here is the orientation letter I send out to new operators before the first session, along with a copy of the Welcome Aboard card, timetable, and rule book. It highlights the important areas of these other documents, and explains how to perform basic tasks.
